The Luckiest Boy in the World

Collin is starting preschool next week. He is going to back to school night tonight and this week I have been trying to get him all psyched up about it. Yesterday I told him his teachers name was "Miss Erica." He said, "That's like America!"

So proud of his rhyming skills! LOL!

This morning I told him today was the day that he gets to meet his teacher. I asked him if he remembered his teachers name. He said, "Yes! Miss America."

How exciting, right!?!

A Beautiful Hero

I just had to write a little bit about my sister in law, Marsha. She is one of the most amazing women that I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Perfect? No, but pretty dang amazing! She has the biggest most caring heart out of anyone I know. She just loves unconditionally. No questions asked. If she loves you then you know it. She is someone who would stick up for you even if she thought you were wrong. Don't mess with Marsha! She cares about every member of her family and I know everyone, including all 8 nieces and nephews, is on her mind every day. She sincerely cares about them all.

She deals with her mom, Barbara, in a no-nonsense, but caring way. Which is something that is hard for the rest of the kids. She loves her mom and does not let anyone say anything bad about her, whether is true or not.

She consistently calls all her brothers and sisters. It's hard to keep in touch, but she makes it a point to call everyone, even if it's just out of duty as a sister. She calls both her parents and her grandparents.

Marsha also is a hard worker. She has a 14 month old beautiful daughter and she works full time as a manager of a surf shop. Not to mention this huge benefit she just put on. 1,000 people showed up and they raised $16,000! She works a minimum of 40 hours there (a lot of times it is more.) She is completely committed to that store and has made a lot of friends there. It's like her family. She goes in there almost every day, whether she is on the schedule or not. She started at the bottom there as just an associate and has worked her way up.

She also has an eye for fashion. She is a diva! She is someone who you would want to dress like. Not to mention she has the body to go with it. The girl is smokin' hot!

Marsha is an excellent mom, even if she spoils Alise a little too much. It's good for her! Alise is lucky to have her. Marsha always tries to make her time with Alise quality time. Her daughter definitely comes first.

Also Marsha is humble, except when she's not. LOL! But I do know she will be embarrassed to find out that I wrote this. Oh well. She is definitely someone that I admire and would like to be more like. Marsha - You are amazing!

Love ya, Gel
Now I tag everyone who read this to post something about one of their real life heroes. Who inspires you?

Yes, I Am Alive

Finally I got my cable/internet today in my new place. I have had a pretty busy month. Just trying to get my life together mostly. We got an apartment and I have been moved in for about a week. We are trying to get things all together for our little life here in Roy. Collin is enrolled in 3 day a week preschool which starts next Wednesday. He is also going to take tumbling and soccer which start next week too. I am really excited for him to go to school. He is just going to love it! He is a little smartie pants. It will be nice for him to be busy. He likes to be going, going all the time and sometimes I don't have all the time or energy that he needs. A little bit of that pressure will be taken off of me and I will also get to spend some one on one time with Brody. I totally love that, but it doesn't happen that often so I am really excited.
Also on the 15th and 16th we went to the temple for our endowments and sealing. It was nice to have so many people come so far to see us. It was a crazy weekend, but I think that everyone had a good time. I rented a 4 bedroom condo in Salt Lake so everyone could have a place to stay and so that we could all be together. It worked out great and I think that made it easier for everyone to be comfortable and spend time together.
The 17th was our 7 year anniversary. I can't believe it has been 7 years!! It has been great and I am still in love with my handsome husband. I am so lucky to have such a great husband. And now I have him forever. :)
I will get some pictures posted pretty soon. Just need to get it together.

A Good Laugh For My Fellow Bloggers

I love Collin. I really do. He makes me laugh every day. He has such a good sense of humor and he asks so many questions. I love it. So here is another classic Collin moment. He has heard a word before and wants to use it, but he really doesn't know what it means.

I am taking Collin it to go to the bathroom. There is already some tissue in the toilet. He goes to the bathroom and then says, "Is that toilet paper going to blog it?"

Blog, clog? What's the difference?

What do you do if no one takes care of you?

You just take care of yourself.
