This is a church in Albuquerque. The front two buildings were already there. They built the dome and some other small outer buildings that you can't see. This was the first dome that they had ever done this color. It was more of a copper color.
This was an auditorium for a small college in Gainesville, Texas. There were classrooms and other rooms inside. It was a huge controversy because the law was that no building could be taller than the courthouse. Funny huh!
Here is a link to the last project that Darrell did with Dome Technology. It is an indoor waterpark for a Holiday in Maumee, Ohio, near Toledo.
Darrell did that last project and he quit to work with Bodell Construction in Vernal in February of last year. That was working out fine, but the work was slowing down and there were talks of being laid off. (Not something to wait around for.) So we found this Maui job and headed here in February, well, Darrell got here in January. Now he is working on a large condo project.
So there you have it. That's why we moved around so much. Domes, domes, domes. Each project lasted 3-9 months. Crazy. I am glad that's over. No way could I do that with 2 kids.
