Once Upon a Time There Was a Ninja

We did a creative writing exercise the other day. Collin had to write a story and then color the pictures that went with the story. It was really fun to hear all his ideas. This was the first story he wrote:

The rest of the story went like this:

"He lived in a place called Warriors."

"The ninja sees a bear."

"The ninja makes an invention."

"The ninja and the bear became friends."

That's it. I guess the invention is what made them become friends. Like a friend making machine? I thought I would spare you the pictures of the other pages, because he didn't color much on them. He really hates coloring. I think it's a great story. Don't you?
